Slim Sailor
I'm very happy to find that there are vegan options for food on this side of Pedro! It is hard enough in San Pedro to find vegan food, but the Corner Store delivers. The Slim Sailor is more on the snack size of a meal, and was perfect after a long walk down Paseo. The vegan cinnamon roll was also a treat! I didn't try the other vegan menu options, but there were at least three things in total. I'm glad to see that the Corner Store appears to be in good hands after changing ownership. A lovely selection of craft products to peruse while waiting for food reminds me of my childhood in the same store. And of course, one only needs to look up at the ceiling to see the old ship hull to be reminded of the Corner Store's uniqueness. Lastly, I really appreciate the outdoor seating options.
Swabby Melt
Portion is on the smaller side but just right for a light satisfying meal.. Good patty melt with right amount of onions and greens. Will order again.
Beachcomber BLT
I love the bacon and thick bread on this sandwich, and the pickle delicious!
Café Au Lait
Made with good quality beans and flavor customizable similar or even better than the chain coffee houses. Service can be slow but this is a corner shop, not a fast food joint so lets give em some slack.
Hobiecat Hoagie
The food is great but the coastal ambience is amazing. You need to visit and spend time at this iconic place.
Slim Sailor
Vegan food available at the corner store! I get the slim sailor often and it is always a great sandwich- yummy and healthy. Love the english muffin it comes on. Few vegan options around town so I appreciate the corner store having a nice dish ?
